The sports lid has a soft silicone spout and is otherwise BPA-free polypropylene.
This sports lid is not 100% leak-proof like the screw lid. It is what Klean Kanteen calls spill-free.
The sports lid fits all Classic and Reflect models from Klean Kanteen.
The sports lid should not be used for children under 3 years of age.
Maintenance of your Klean Kanteen sports lid
It is important to keep the sports lid clean.
In addition to regular daily cleaning, we recommend that you take apart the Sport lid occasionally and scald the parts in boiling water.
You can take out the silicone spout itself and clean the inside behind it. Possibly with a straw brushThen you are sure that there are no bacteria hiding inside the spout.
