Activated carbon is a form of carbon that undergoes a special activation process that makes it extremely porous. This significantly increases the surface area of ??the coal, making it very effective at absorbing various pollutants. Activated carbon can attract and bind to harmful chemicals, toxins and unwanted odors. It is widely used in water filtration systems and other healthcare products due to its ability to purify and improve water quality. Kishu Binchotan, a traditional Japanese form of activated carbon, is specially designed to purify drinking water and add beneficial minerals. • Put the charcoal in a jug or other container and pour water over it
• After six hours the water is cleaned and ready for use
• Refill as much as you want
• Boil the charcoal rod approx. 1 time per month according to the above procedure. It will reactivate the charcoal and remove the substances that the charcoal has taken up. Write it down if necessary. in your calendar so you remember it.

The coal can last for at least 90 days - and often much more. You will be able to taste when you need to replace the charcoal.

The charcoal rods may break during the cooking process. It has no effect on the effect of the charcoal.

Once your activated charcoal has served its water purification purpose, you can use it as an air purifier. It is super effective for cleaning the air indoors and ensuring good air humidity.

You can also use it to remove odors from shoes, sports bags or the fridge.

When you can't find more uses for the charcoal stick, you can simply throw it in the compost bin or in the flower bed. It is super effective as fertilizer too :-)

The bread bags can be machine washed at 40 °C and must be hung to dry.

Wood does not give off any harmful chemicals to your food and there is also no risk of it melting on the pan, as e.g. plastic can do when the temperatures get high.

How to use Bokashi bran in your compost bin

When you start with an empty Bokashi compost bin, you start by sprinkling a thin layer of Bokashi bran at the bottom. Then you add kitchen waste little by little. Every time you put new food scraps in the container, you again spread an even layer of bran on top and lightly press the waste down before closing the lid tightly.

The combination of bran and food scraps ensures optimal conditions for fermentation. After a few weeks, you will have a valuable pre-compost that you can mix with soil, after which it is quickly transformed into nutrient-rich soil for your plants.

One kilo of Bokashi bran is typically enough for approximately 2-3 months of normal use of the compost bin.

Storage

Bokashi bran is stored at room temperature, without exposure to direct sunlight.

These blocks of red cedar wood (Juniperus virginiana) are a completely natural protection against the small moths that can find their way around your wardrobe.

Cedar wood is oily and emits a scent that we humans like quite well, but which moths, on the other hand, cannot stand it, so a little cedar in the wardrobe will protect your clothes from the little criminals.

Why plastic bucket?

A really effective and versatile product.

Puer is an oxygen-based bleach and stain remover - which also degreases and disinfects.

This bag contains 1 kg.

What can you use puer for?

Puer can be used for so many different things in the household.

For example, use it as:

• Bleach when you wash white - add 1-2 tbsp. together with your detergent
• Soaking very dirty clothes (white and colourfast) - 1-2 tbsp. for 10 liters of water
• Cleaning the toilet - pour puer into the toilet together with boiling water and leave to work overnight. Then scrub clean with the toilet brush
• Cleaning drains - pour 1-2 tbsp. Puer down the drain (preferably with vinegar). It dissolves greasy deposits. Leave on for at least 15 minutes

Puer or sodium percarbonate is oxygen-enriched washing soda (sodium carbonate). When activated with hot water, oxygen is released and hydrogen peroxide is formed, which has a bleaching effect. The hydrogen atmosphere also has a disinfecting effect.

Puer breaks down into water and oxygen with a lot of fizz and foam, so it is completely biodegradable.

For Puer to work properly, it must be used with water with a temperature of at least 40 degrees. The powder does not dissolve or activate in cold water.

• If the clothes are to be tumble-dried, you can add a few drops to your wool balls. Let them absorb the oil for 10-15 min, for the best result, before putting them in the dryer.

Although these fragrance oils are the mildest available, they are still 100% pure and undiluted essential oils, which in some cases are allergenic.

Therefore, the oil must not be applied directly to the skin, in which case there is a risk of showing symptoms of hypersensitivity.

How to Use a Shampoo Bar

• Brush your hair before taking a shower. This way, you remove loose hair so it does not tangle when you massage in the shampoo bar.
• Then soak your hair. Rub the bar around the scalp approximately 6-10 times. Make sure to get the back of the head and the sides. It won't lather much yet as the shampoo removes dirt and grime on the first wash.
• Massage around the scalp with your fingers - you can add a little more water if you find it difficult to get lather. You don't need to apply shampoo to the ends, as this unnecessarily wears on the hair.
• Rinse your hair well and make it soaking wet again. Massage the shampoo bar through the hair a second time. You can now go around the hair fewer times, and it will lather more and faster. Then rinse the hair thoroughly.
• If desired, distribute the conditioner bar through the hair and rinse afterwards. Optionally, let the conditioner sit for a few minutes as a hair mask before rinsing out.

The shampoo bar should be stored dry, somewhere the water can drain off.
